House Rejects Bailout Package, 228-205; Stocks Plunge

WASHINGTON — In a moment of historic import in the Capitol and on Wall Street, the House of Representatives voted on Monday to reject a $700 billion rescue of the financial industry. The vote came in stunning defiance of President Bush and Congressional leaders of both parties, who said the bailout was needed to prevent a widespread financial collapse.


Umm...7 000 000 000 000 divided by 300 000 000 tax payers = 23,333$ for every man woman and child in america.

So, when americans were told "Give me 23 grand , each , or else [insert random financial bibble babble here]" they responded with their middle fingers.

Good for them !

This bail out is a sham from the get go. Who's responsible for stealing all of those houses from all of those consumers in the first place ? You refuse to answer that question , you refuse to even look into it , but you want the sheep you've already fleeced clean to now cough up another twenty three grand on top of it all ! Each !

No one trusts you anymore. And rightly so. If you're not going to do something constructive, like say fix the problem , punish the guilty , making sure it never happens again , making those sob's give the money back , things like that , then you need to just go away and quit annoying people.


The former Treasury Department official who predicted another House vote this week said that before there could be another vote, he would expect Speaker Nancy Pelosi, the California Democrat, and Representative John A. Boehner of Ohio, the Republican minority leader, to approach members with seats in safe districts and tell them, in effect: “You’ve got to do this. The fate of the country hangs on your vote.”


The fate of the country lies in stringing you up from the nearest tree with a noose rather than let you BUTT FUCK THE WHOLE FUCKING WORLD a second time. Thats what the fate of the country lies in.

What kind of asses are you fools ? "We screwed up. Give us 23 grand, each , so we can try it again. And no, you're never getting that money back. And you're still bankrupt. Don't default on that over priced high interest mortgage we screwed you into taking out in the first place. And no , I know we gave you that money to get a house, and you bought a house in good faith , but you're not getting that house back. You must continue to live out of your car."

But you did , however , accomplish one thing.


Supporters vowed to try to bring the rescue package up again as soon as possible, perhaps late Wednesday or Thursday, but there were no definite plans to do so


DON'T LOWER THE PRICES ON THOSE TOXIC HOUSES YET YOU MAY STILL GET EVERY LAST PENNY WE'RE GONNA TRY AGAIN !!!!

And so america is consigned to living out of their cars for a little while longer while you try one more time to get A HUGE HONKING TON OF BLOOD from a tiny already exhausted little pebble left out in the cold with no home. You can't give up on getting seven thousand million dollars that quick can you ? Seven thousand new millionaires ? Every member of congress, every lobbiest , every big business chairman , they all get a cool million. Just need to cooperate a little longer ..just a little longer ....

You want a solution to this manufactured problem ? I'll give you a solution.
Take all those over priced houses and start renting them out to the guys living in parking lots , at rates they can afford, and accept your losses instead of trying to sell them at their current five times what they're really worth and having no one live in them and collecting no money from them.

How about that for a solution ?
