I think it's the way my browser is set up , I click on download and it starts to play the file. But thats ok , you simply to to file > save as on your browser and you can save the file anyways.
This yahoo site has huge wacks of podcasts, including french (the above podcast is a french lesson) where as podcast.com has very few french lessons, so I thought I'd revisit this and post the site.
the yahoo has huge quantities of podcasts, must be thousands , pages on pages on any particular subject, you're better off to decide what you want first and then search for it rather than browse the directory listings, they're simply too long , too many broadcasters.
Spotted a few get rich quick schemers, so be reminded that a lot of these broadcasts are from private individuals. If you're just looking for comedy that's ok, but if you're looking for real advice , watch your pocket book or they might empty it !
