ISIS releases new audio of leader al-Baghdadi saying 'caliphate' is doing well

In the 24-minute audio, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi said airstrikes by the international coalition only increase his group's determination and resolve. The message was al-Baghdadi's first since May, and comes amid battlefield setbacks that IS has recently faced.

.

.If the Saudi-led alliance was truly Islamic, then it would fight the Syrian army and its Russian "masters," as well as Shiites and Jews, al-Baghdadi said.

.

"It is unprecedented in the history of our Ummah (Islamic nation) that all the world came against it in one battle, as it is happening today. It is the battle of all the disbelievers against all the Muslims," al-Baghdadi said.

All the disbelievers against all the muslims. That is to say , all the muslims (shiites) Isis hasn't butchered like chattel , enslaved, sold off for body parts on the black market, etc etc.

Oh wait , I get it. Those other muslims , like the 31 muslim nations that are opposing you , are disbelievers, like the Shiites.

So how many True Muslims are there ? Just you guys ? That's about 30 000 right ? And the other 1.6 billion self styled muslims, they don't count , right ?

"We promise you, God permitting, that whoever participates in the war against the Islamic State will pay the price dearly."

How dare you stop us from murdering you , turning your women into sex slaves , and selling off your men for body parts on the black market ? You better cease your resistance or we're going to kill you , turn your women into sex slaves, and sell your organs off on the black market !

Hmm....yeah ... right ...ok. So who wants to shoot one of these guys ? Wow , look at the line up ...

He threatened Israel by saying, "we haven't forgotten you" and "we are getting closer to you" every day.

Except you're too busy murdering the false muslims first. You'll get around to the Israeli's later some time. Wow, it is too bad the Jews don't take new converts because I could see a lot of muslims deciding they'd like to be low on the list of priorities of who ISIS is going to kill next.

Typical religious air head. He probably has no idea just how silly his speech is. Probably jumping up and down in rage shouting "I'm an Iman ! You have to die on my command ! or I'll kill you !"

   funny funny people.

ISIS, Facing Losses, Releases Recording Said to Be of Leader

BAGHDAD — The Islamic State on Saturday released an audio recording of a speech purportedly made by the organization’s leader, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, in which he implored more Muslims to fight on behalf of his increasingly besieged group.

More Muslims must join the cause ! Wait, I mean more Sunni Muslims ! , The way we've been slaughtering the Shiite muslims like calflings it's probably pointless to ask them.  Wait ...I mean "Extremist Sunni" muslims. The way we've been slaughtering Sunni Muslims who arn't extreme enough for our tastes it's probably pointless to ask any of them.

Who's With Me ? Who wants to die for the cause ?

Google is trying to kill passwords. But what should replace them?

"You authorize your phone to allow you to log in to your account. You go into a computer and type in your email. Then you get a message on your phone to allow the login. If you hit yes, the computer logs into your Google account without a password," he wrote.

So , Google gets your phone number in addition to forcing you to have a google phone.  They use that phone number to authorize your email . they sell that phone number to every spammer in the world, because that's how they make a profit. Half the hackers in the world now have both your phone number and your google email address, because that stuff is for sale , cheap. Or the id number of the phone itself (the actual handset , not the the phone number) is used for identification , in which case if you lose your phone every thing locked with it is wide open.

I know that there are a lot of people out there that don't like passwords, but locking everything with a phone you're going to hang onto for three years, and is going to cost you 700$ to change (price of a new iphone) is not the answer.

U of T tool tracks if the NSA could be tracking you

U of T tool tracks if the NSA could be tracking you

His research shows between 20 and 25 per cent of local Canadian Internet traffic gets routed through the United States, exposing the browsing habits of Canadians to organizations like the National Security Agency.

“Your rights are being violated without you knowing it,” he said, noting the NSA can intercept data at prominent Internet exchange points in the U.S. “We do so much of our transactions online now – banking and shopping – and we should be assured that we’re not being exposed to forms of state surveillance.”

Foolish , foolish man. Let me give you the guarenteed 100% effective tool for discovering if the NSA "could" be tracking you.

Can you read this post ?

If yes , you're online therefore the NSA can track you.
If no ...why do you even care if no , not like you're actually reading this article or anything ....

Juniper Networks backdoor confirmed, password revealed, NSA suspected

The next mystery to solve is where this unauthorized code comes from. Security advisories usually relate to vulnerabilities arising from defects -- mistakes programmers made. In this case, someone deliberately inserted a backdoor password into Juniper's devices. That's a huge deal. If it's the NSA (which looks possible, given one leak about a program called "FEEDTROUGH" that installs persistent backdoors in Juniper devices) then it will mean that the US government deliberately sabotaged tens, if not hundreds, of thousands of networks that were protected by products from a US company that is the second-largest provider of networking equipment in the world, after Cisco.

So the NSA penetrated Cisco routers already , that story was last year, the largest provider of security networking, and now they've penetrated Juniper, the next in line provider.

So , do you still want to by a "made in america" security solution for your company ?

Me either.

Persistance pays off in track and field. But not in gambling , and not in spycraft. All it does in spycraft is make sure no one every buys products from your country again.

Shaw buying Wind Mobile in $1.6B deal

Article

Shaw Communications has reached an agreement to buy Wind Mobile in a transaction valued at $1.6 billion.
The Calgary-based telecommunications company says it will acquire a full interest in parent company Mid-Bowline Group Corp., which owns Wind.
The transaction is subject to a number of approvals that include the Competition Bureau and the Ministry of Innovation, Science & Economic Development.

 I'm screwed.
My phone company just sold me out to Shaw.
It may be time to try skype or a 15$ / month land line or something.
I'll have to think on this.

Edit ::: forgot ...still pending approval. Hasn't happened yet.

Toronto stabbing suspect has 'impressive resume'

Toronto stabbing suspect has 'impressive resume'

.
.
.
Rohinie Bisesar, 40, is facing charges in connection with what police are calling an unprovoked stabbing.
.
.
.

"Something has been happening to me and this is not my normal self," someone wrote from an email address matching Bisesar's name.
"I would like to know who and why this is happening. There is either a single person or more responsible and who and why would be nice to know."

I'll tell you what happened , woman.  Your DNA is broken up into three sections, and the section that activates when you hit 35-40 just switched on , and it's got errors on it. And in your case, you lost your mind and are now loopy as a loon.
It's the big house for you , my dear. Your sanity is gone and it isn't coming back.

Talks to reform Ferguson, Missouri police make progress - U.S. Justice Dept

Talks to reform Ferguson, Missouri police make progress - U.S. Justice Dept

Ferguson Mayor James Knowles III did not immediately respond to a request for comment. However, he told the New York Times that the two sides are "very close" to a deal, and that "small sticking points" remained.

Citing officials, the newspaper said the agreement, which would be filed in federal court, would require new training for police officers and improved record keeping, along with a federal monitor.

So, in this agreement , James Knowles III , the mayor who signed off on robbing all those blacks blind and the ones that couldn't pay ,throw them into jail , is still mayor. And the cops that obeyed his orders are still cops there.

And there's no mention of returning the (black !) public's property that was taken from them, forgiving them the fines that were dished out from cops of dubious repute (they forgave any interest not already paid, but they didn't return any interest that was paid) any property that was confiscated was never returned, and anyone who was shot and killed was not ... ressurected , so to speak.

Basically , the Justice Department agreed that mayor James Knowles III could do whatever the heck he wanted and too bad so sad if your ass is black.

Welcome to Justice in America.

Const. George Duke facing assault charge after September crash

Const. George Duke facing assault charge after September crash

Const. George Duke, 52, was charged with assault, uttering threats to cause bodily harm and forcible confinement and was released from custody on a promise to appear in Brockville court in late January.

He remains suspended from duty with pay.

In October, Duke was charged with theft over $5,000, possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000, breach of trust, unlawful possession of a restricted firearm, unsafe storage of a firearm, unsafe storage of ammunition, possession of a firearm without a licence and possession of schedule two substance.

It came after an 18-month OPP internal investigation that also led to charges against two other officers at the Leeds County detachment.

Duke has been an OPP officer for 20 years.

This is actually a fascinating story. You have to understand ,a  friend of mine , whom we shall call "Wireless Toaster" has explained to me that you can't put cops in jail , their lives would be in danger from their fellow inmates, if you intend to kill someone you must officially assign them the death penalty.

This legal loop hole, apparently , has kept every Canadian cop out of jail since the beginning of time.

It will be interesting to see if this George Duke goes to jail (proving Wireless Toaster wrong) or if he gets off with just being fired, demonstrating a serious hole in our justice system, and we probably need to build a jail just for corrupt cops really quick before they figure out they're allowed to kill us normal civilians and get away with it.

I've actually been waiting to bring this issue up for a while ...

Help Support Terrorism

Ottawa Police officers raise money to run school in Somalia

A group of Ottawa Police officers are raising money to help run a school in Somalia.
The school was built in 2012, from the fundraising efforts of Const. Moe Elmi, a community policing officer in the Herongate area, who dreamed of creating a brighter future for kids in his native country.

Somalia is an unsecured country. Islamic Terrorists run around shooting and murdering people all the time. And Islamics are especially fond of schools , where new terrorists are trained and raised , not to mention young girls are taken to be trained to love being raped ...I'm sorry , that is a false accusation you can only make that accusation with four male witnesses agreeing with you , otherwise you just confessed to extra-maritial sex which is a death sentence in that country so you better stay quiet no matter what they do to you little girls ... and anyone who disagree's gets shot by the terrorists, thanks for standing in the same place ( a building) just waiting for them to drop by when the coast is clear.

In other words. Thanks for supporting terrorism in the middle east.

Secure the area first people, then let the civilians and schools and stuff in. Anything else is just handing stuff to the terrorists.

Rogers Users and Sexual Abuse Accusations

Warrantless access to internet subscriber data OK sometimes, privacy czar says

 (Second last paragraph)

Rogers also had a special process to help with child sexual exploitation investigations by confirming a customer's name and address when provided with a computer's Internet Protocol (IP) address. This would allow police to obtain a search or arrest warrant.

 Dear Rogers Customers ,

Thanks to the police's ever growing need to access your records at any price, they will now begin accusing each and every rogers customer as a child abuser , so that they can get at your records.  You may rest assured that in this age of hackers , all of those false accusations will quickly become public knowledge , so anyone who's a rogers customer will now be subject to the same kind of black mail as those from the Ashley Madison web site hack.

Except you didn't actually have the fun of committing the crime , you're going to be black mailed , humiliated , lose your job, the works, for something you didn't do.

Thank you for  your patronage.

Sincerely ,

Ted Rogers.

Refugee sponsors face moral, ethical dilemmas

Refugee sponsors face moral, ethical dilemmas

...After investing so much, accepting the woman's decision was emotionally difficult for Le Jeune. She is now hoping to find a different refugee family to sponsor...

Loosely translated, you are sponsoring a bunch of strangers.

As a canadian , my primary concern would be if these people are going to go radical and start shooting people. And guess what ? You can't answer that question. These people are total strangers to you , you're hoping Canadian Foreign affairs can screen a bunch of people with no documents who could have come from anywhere, who know we're sponsoring "Syrian" refugee's, so of course they're going to claim to be from Syria.

No one knows anything , and everyone hopes it will work out.

Lets do the math. If you're only wrong one time in a thousand about these people, you've just let 25 terrorists into the country.

Congratulations Justin Trudeau. You must be so proud. I'm going to hold you personally responsible if they blow up something.

Not that anyone will care ... especially not him...

Ten Thousand Refugee's

So. Good old Justin Trudeau has decided to settle ten thousand refugee's in the Ottawa area.

And by the way , the line up for community housing in ottawa is between four and eight years long.

So I gotta ask. Are they "budding in line" ahead of the canadian citizens taking those spots that people wait years, even a decade, for ?

if the answer is yes , whoa are people going to be mad.

if the answer is no , we've got a new budget just for refugee housing , then why arn't you providing a new budget for regular canadian housing ? Why are you bringing strangers into Canada who are going to live on welfare for years when we have a line up of homeless people years long waiting for homes ?

There isn't any way to deny it. Every refugee is cutting in line ahead of a canadian. Worse, all ten thousand of them headed for ottawa are cutting in line ahead of EVERY canadian who has been waiting years, and now just had a couple of extra years added to his wait time.

Thank you Justin Trudeau.

Budget Woe Joke

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2014_Canadian_federal_budget

This comes under the catagory of "I hate people who cant do the math"

The budget in 2014 (including deficit   ) was 276 billion dollars.
That is to say , The Canadian Government had revenues of 276.3 billion dollars.

Trudeau is threatenning a 10 billion dollar deficiet (Ie: spend 10 billion more than the expected revenue).

10 / 276 = 0.036

Justin is spending 3.6% more money than he has.
oh wait ...he's a government. He can print money.
So ... inflaction next year will be 3.6 %.

Phhht ! That's pretty low. Talk to me when we get to 5%. Then I can demand a pay raise from my boss.

Christmas drone invasion predictions concern authorities

Christmas drone invasion predictions concern authorities

The number of drones flying through North American skies is about to get a boost, say industry insiders — causing serious concern for safety among aviation authorities.

Yeah. Ok. Ummm...of all the worries I have in the world, a plastic toy with a propeller or two that can be defeated by simply DRAWING THE CURTAINS isn't high on the list , sorry.

And while it may annoy people at the beach , the beach is in fact a public place.

And I've seen these drones for like 35$ retail ? If they ever got in the way of an air plane the air plane engine would eat them alive and not even notice.

Not going to panic, sorry.

Ransomware, bogus emails from your 'boss' mark growing skill of cyber-criminals

Ransomware, bogus emails from your 'boss' mark growing skill of cyber-criminals

Cyber-criminals are hacking into corporate computer systems and using the public profiles of top executives to fine-tune email scams that are duping Canadians out of hundreds of millions of dollars each year, a CBC News investigation has discovered.

My advice is simple : The moment you started getting bogus messages from your boss, it was time to shut it down. The moment you start getting hacked from the internet , it's time to shut it down. The "cost savings" and "improved communications" mean nothing in the face of the fact that now ,someone else is running the show, not you and not the owners. And that isn't tolerable to anyone.

This is the end result of people collecting profiles on everyone  and selling them. They know your name , where you work , your title at work (bonus ! This guy's a CEO he must be so proud) there's a picture of him and his home address ... and they sell that to anyone. Of course some criminal is going to buy the stuff and use it in a scam. They'd be stupid not to.

Which ever CEO got his company hacked and lost a ton of money , I bet he's no longer saying "I'm not a criminal. I have nothing to hide. Who cares if they can see my photo and other details on face book ? "

Quebec's assisted dying law comes into effect today

Quebec's assisted dying law comes into effect today

Ok then. I'm against the death penalty , and I'm against doctors killing people, whatever they choose to call it. More specifically , I'm against bureaucrats always looking for more and more "efficiency" having the right to kill. Be they the prisons, or the hospitals , or anyone else.

I worked in a private company , answering phones and providing tech support for computers (and later , cell phones) . I remember fondly certain meetings where my supervisor called me (and the other workers under his authority) in to pass along instructions from the boss.

He told us it was against policy to try and fix our stations , by swapping out keyboards and mice . There was a sub contracter who was charged with fixing them , and we were messing up his work tickets. Then he told us he expects us to totally ignore this policy and continue on as we were before.

I remember him telling us we could hang up on one customer a month and it would be shrugged off as an accident. We should save that hang up for particularily annoying customers who wanted to babble on and on and on , and we were supposed to only spend 8 minutes on each call , but the call was now up to 45 minutes ...

I remember the corperation introducing a contest to find new employee's , but the conditions to collect the "prize" were so insane that only one person in the call center ever actually collected.

I remember being in a hospital , as a matter of fact , and they were trying to discharge me , meanwhile I was throwing up on the floor. They brought a wheel chair in and everything because there was someone else waiting for that bed so hurry hurry hurry ... (to their credit , they decided I was too sick to discharge, eventually, but I almost had to throw up on their shoes to get that)

You want to give these people the right to kill ?

Forget it ! It will be a blood bath.

The FBI wants tech companies to 'change their business model

The FBI wants tech companies to 'change their business model

"Instead, Comey is asking for the tech company to retain a readable version of that initial message, just in case."

Basically , encrypt all you like, but keep an unencrypted copy for the FBI to supenea.

This is rather like asking someone to lock the front door, but always leave the window open just in case they want to sneak in. There isn't any point in encryption if you deliberately file a non-encrypted copy of the message somewhere. You gotta know that copy is going to get hacked and stolen. Probably the whole database where you keep all those unencrypted messages will be stolen. Thus , encryption from your company is worthless. Thank you and good night.

And on that topic , Why do you want a back door into everyone in the worlds encryption anyways ? To fight terrorism ? That is the claim , but NSA isn't fighting terrorism is it ? It's keeping data on every company in france worth a minimum of 100 million dollars USA  (everyone's email address, even the janitor) It's spying on Angela Merkel (chanceller of germany) You really think the german Chanceller is a terrorist ? No ... you're not fighting terrorism. You're stealing money, that's what you're doing. What do they call it ? Economic Intelligence ? Yes , Big companies in America make massive donations of millions of dollars to the government , and so government agencies spy on over seas corperations to try and give those corperations an advantage.

This is my list of things we should ban because of terrorism

We should ban computers, I've seen terrorists using computers, honest !

We should ban guns ! Oh wait, the NRA in the usa is far too influential , you'll never be able to ban them. Let the terrorists legally purchase all the guns they like.

We should ban planes. I hear about terrorists travelling around on planes all the time .

We should ban phones. Terrorists definately use phones all the time.

We should ban fertalizer. It's just way too easy to make fertilizer bombs.

We should ban the american dollar. Terrorists use it all the time. Seriously. They do.

We should ban letting muslim immigrants into the country (any western country) unless they promise faithfully that they're not a terrorist.

We should ban locks. I hear terrorists make their dastardly plans behind locked doors all the time. No one should be allowed to lock their doors anymore.

These are only a few of the things we should ban in the name of terrorism.

The NSA might be spying on Tor users

The NSA might be spying on Tor users

Privacy and encryption have been two very hot topics for the last few years. The Tor browser can help protect your privacy while online, but it may come at the cost of being spied on by the NSA.

Well first off  I highly recommend you get the heck off Tor as quick as possible.

Do you know how , when you search on google and go to strange sites sometimes, once in a while , you get a bogus site thats run by untrustworthy people that are trying to scam you , infect you , get you to download something harmful , etc etc ?

On Tor , EVERY site is like that. It's ridiculous. You do a search and you get page after page of scammers. I'm a skilled techie and even I turn away and just don't use the thing. It's too risky , too dangerous , and mostly a total waste of time.

I suppose, if you're a newsie , and you need to contact someone in another country , you can both download a chat program (hopefully one with built in encryption) and communicate, but the average joe on the internet ? STAY AWAY . You'll get infected. Over and over and over.

So it's been a while since I log onto blogspot to make a post (just called my sister and she's complaining she hasn't seen any in a while. ) And what do I see ? A notice claiming it's ok for Google (who owns blog spot) to break the law and then blame me for it.  As in , they're collecting cookies , I can't turn it off , and by the time you see their warning message you've already been "collected"

That can't possibly be legal.

US Companies. *Snort*.

I don't have any third party add ons (or ad-ons ? ) Go sue Google for sticking me with stuff I can't turn off.

Ok.

UBER TAXI PROBLEMS

Anti-Uber taxi drivers' protest blocks Queen and Bay for evening rush hour

After staging a protest inside city hall against ride-hailing service Uber, dozens of cab drivers moved outside to block the busy intersection at Queen and Bay Streets during the evening rush, despite pleas from the mayor and others not to impede commuters.

I hate people who can't do math.
I talked to a cab driver , well , several , here in Ottawa , I admit I'm not certain of Toronto , and I learned the following information (This was before Uber )
Rideau Center to the air port is 17 min and 15 km.
Blue Line and Capital its 2.85$ to get into the cab and 5$ for every 10 km

Uber wants 16$ for the above trip.
Blue line wants 10$ or so for the trip , assuming there's no traffic glitches (ie: you get charged for waiting at a stop light , traffic jams, etc )
So the price isn't that different.

What is different ?

Cabbies have to pay 80 000$ (yes, eighty thousand dollars) for permission to drive a cab , per year. This price is paid directly by the cab driver before he picks up his first fare. Then he gets his 15$ ,or so , for driving you from downtown to the air port.

So then , lets do the math. 17 min work gets you (15/17 = 88 cents a minute)  0.88 $
So , 40 hrs / week x 52 weeks / year * 60 min/hr =  110, 117.65 $ (a hundred and 10 thousand dollars)
Subtract your licensing fee and its 30 000$ / year. Now pay maintenance on your car , gas , etc, and it's closer to half , or less. Keep in mind you're driving this thing into the ground, 40 hrs week ,not just too and from work (10 hrs a week) so all maintenance / gas costs on a taxi start at quadriple what a regular car costs and goes up.

Basically , the only way driving a cab is worth anything is if you drive it 60 or more hours a week , and magically never get into an accident despite being exhausted all the time because of the ridiculous hours you work.

And we havn't even started in on dispatch fee's and insurance rates , which are much higher for taxis than regular cars.

Conclusion

Taxi drivers have been enslaved , economically. They work hard, and the taxi companies and the city (who collects that 80k license) take all their money.

I favor Uber because the drivers pocket the money , not some bureaucrats who do nothing but keep track of how much money you owe them.  Heck , they don't even try and stop Uber , who isn't paying them their 80k a year. So what is a Taxi driver paying that money for anyways ?

Nothing. Absolutely nothing.

It's illegal to operate a cab without a license, but currently Toronto (according to the article above) is not enforcing that.

Google non-Privacy

So google introduces these "Privacy" settings.

I look in vain for the check box that says "STOP TRACKING MY EVERY MOVE AND SELLING IT TO EVERYONE UNDER THE SUN WHO HAS TWO NICKLES TO RUB TOGETHER"

It wasnt' there, of course.

What was there was a demand for more information (specifically , my phone number, everyone in the universe wants my home phone number and doesn't believe I only have a cheap cell phone , a google phone no less , or at least android) . They were really pushing getting that phone number.

So basically , they're following in the american Freedom Act's foot steps. They call it "Privacy" but really they mean to steal every byte of information they can , even more than before, and continue selling it to everyone and the dog.

Airbus to sue NSA, German spies accused of swiping tech secrets

Article = http://www.theregister.co.uk/2015/04/30/airbus_us_german_intelligence/

Spiegel Online reported that the BND's listening station at Bad Aibling in southern Bavaria was used to target up to 2,000 European concerns, including European defense company EADS, the helicopter manufacturer Eurocopter, and various French agencies. This spying was done at the behest of the NSA, and the information may have been fed back to American businesses.

I pretty much knew this was going on , but didn't have any proof. Of course all sorts of American Senators, their political war chests to get elected again filled by american businesses , are going to pass along industrial secrets to american corperations. How exactly can that *NOT* happen ??? You think those corperations are giving away millions just for giggles and chuckles ? Millions ?

Uh uh.

The American Copywrite system now officially (it already had it unofficially) has another strike against it. That being that a goodly (but unknown , and you may be certain every american will deny THEIR Copywrites were stolen) number of the copyrights in that system don't actually belong to the owners. They were stolen by americans from over seas.

The price of doing business with americans is just too high if you ask me. They spy on everyone , and it aint to fight terrorists , they steal any copyright materials they can get and copyright them real quick , and all of that made in america electronics is probably full of electronic bugs to continue the spying that has been just so productive, how can they possibly *NOT* continue ?  Even if it is cut down to 10% of what it's been reveiling currently , they will reason , that's still a whopping huge amount. You don't dare kill the golden goose , money is everything right ?

Still looking for another computer , and antoher phone. It won't be an iphone or an android, and windows 10 will not be seen in my place. Not ever.

Where's Ottawa Boy

One of my friends decided to get cute and google my location. I think it's this guy.

Wow, looks like quite the psycho killer.
Anyways. He noticed a church in the back ground of that pic I posted showing my new apartment , and did a google search of churches and ottawa , and then  he checked out the roof top patterns and the cracks in the road (you can see the cracks around the sewar if you look out the window) and came up with an address ... that wasn't perfect , but it was really really close. He's only off by a few meters.

And the only tool he used was google (search and street view).
It's frightenning how much can be learned with a few google searches. It really is. I think we are in an age where information about ourselves is out of our control.

This guy is actually a good friend so I'm not worried about him tracking me down. But the fact that a few google searchs from a stray picture can find my address is of deep concern to us all , I think.

RIP Walter Scott

It is illegal to advocate the commission of a crime. Both in Canada and in the USA. But what if there are ...legal problems ?

Legal problems , like in the american south, where the cops are essentially hunting down blacks as if they were game animals, and as in this video , putting a few bullets in the back of one that's running away. (Not allowed to shoot anyone who isn't a threat to another human being ...shooting someone in the back while he's fleeing , no matter what his criminal history , is a serious no no)  We all know this cop will never see the inside of a jail. In the American South , there is a one sided war going on. The Blacks get shot by the cops, and the cops make dang sure no one fights back.

How long until the blacks get tired of being used for target practice , throw away their cell phones and other devices that the FBI is most certainly using to spy on them and make sure they don't organize (but don't ask them for those recorded conversations to use as evidence against some cop ! ) and do it the old fashion way ?

Everyone knows, you can't run around shooting people and expect them not to defend themselves. Everyone knows many mideavil nations, like France , had themselves a revolution when the population got tired of being killed , and decided to introduce the nobility to madame guillotine.

Im not advocating the blacks rise up and take up arms.
I'm advocating the Klu Klux Klan and all of it's followers be thrown in jail , before they set the USA on fire.

Chairs

Article = none , personal experience

Moving homes without a moving truck is a pain. Luckily I had help. And a donation of chairs. Good chairs, which in my definition means chairs that won't collapse under my 305lbs weight (do you know how many fold up chairs there are with a 250lbs weight limit ? And the realy fancy sturdy ones have, hidden away in hard to find spots, a tag proclaiming hteir limit is actually only 225lbs ...? )

This dour faced ray of sunshine is my friend George , who is helping me move these two chairs he gave me on the bus.

Wow. I gotta do something about that beard. That's my new dollar store cowboy hat, sells for about $2.50 each , and a white beard so thick children stop me on the street and call me Santa Clause. I tell them I'm on vacation.

Wow. I now have 3 chairs in my place. (and no table) That's quite a step up from one chair. I can actually have people over and more than one person at a time can sit down.

There's no place like home

Article = none , personal experience

Moved to a new place. Potentially the last place i will ever live in , since it's city of ottawa housing. Or ...maybe when I turn 65 they'll decide it's not a good idea for the old folks to live with the  young hoodlems.
Anyways...looks like the old fridge was a wreck, so I got a brand new one. Even has the paper work still in it.

My spot on the floor. I used to sleep in my girlfriends bed (when she was at work) and it was very very comfortable. And after a few days I'd get these awful back aches. Then for one reason or another I wound up sleeping on the floor, and my back ache went away ? Weird. A whole industry built on selling you mattersses that seem to actually inflict back pain on you. One wonders what the point is ?

The baby blue pad with the electical cable is a Heating pad, you lie on it and despite the fact that you only have 2 blankets you're warm anyways because the electric pad keeps you warm at night.

Counter space counter space, where art thou counterspace ? Oh that red cup ...seems to be taking it all up, not that there was much in the first place. Hmm...gonna have to get a table or something.

Ok , yes it's a camping chair. But it has a 500lbs weight capacity, making it far superior to all those other 250lbs limit fold up chairs (and me weighing 305 lbs last time I checked !)

Saanich mayor vindicated by privacy commissioner's report on spyware

Article

VICTORIA — Less than two weeks after being sworn in as mayor, Saanich Mayor Richard Atwell learned he was being spied upon.
A whistleblower sidled up to the rookie mayor at a community event, last December, and suggested the mayor’s own staff had bugged his municipal computer.
Distrustful of Saanich’s top bureaucrats — many of whom were loyal to the six-term incumbent that Atwell had just upset at the polls — the mayor of Vancouver Island’s largest municipality felt he had only one option left: Launch his own investigation.
.
.
.

Atwell’s suspicions were vindicated Monday in a report by privacy commissioner Elizabeth Denham, who said Saanich staff broke the law by installing spyware software called Spector 360 onto several municipal computers.
The district collected too much unnecessary personal information and didn’t provide proper notification to those being monitored, Denham ruled.
The software was also too invasive, tracking not only Atwell’s Internet and email usage, but also recording all the keystrokes he made and taking screenshots of his screen every 30 seconds, said Denham.

So the employee's of the Mayor decided they didn't like the new mayor and they put spyware on his machine .

Atwell has asked the Office of the Police Complaint Commissioner to review Saanich police conduct, as well as the conduct of the regional traffic unit that has pulled him over four times without issuing any infractions.

And they tried to get you arrested . And the police investigation was tainted of course , since the police were in on it. They were all loyal to the mayor of 6 terms who just got booted (6x4= 24 years )

See, this is the kind of nonsense I'm talking about. The police were in on the scam. If you can't trust the police who can you trust. Apparently , no one, because even the police were in on this effort to oust a duly elected mayor.

I do not know if Atwell is a good mayor  , or a terrible mayor. But I do know , it is the responsibility of the electorate to decide who is mayor , not the police , and not some bureaucrat in IT who owes the previous administration a favor. For us to permit someone to take away our right to vote , and have that vote actually mean something , is to turn us into the blacks of Ferguson , Missouri, who were abused and even murdered by the politico's , because their vote didn't matter. They never got to vote.

Mark my words. Let someone take your vote from you , and that's what your town / city will turn into.

Driver beware: Your new car may be spying on you

Article

"
Electronic control units keep track of everything from how fast you drive to how long your car idles and how suddenly you brake, the report says. Your car’s GPS system, for example, also keeps track of your exact location, sending that information to the car’s manufacturer, or possibly a third-party call centre or an insurance agency.
Detailed information about where a person spends their time paints an intimate picture of their life, the report says, and can be dangerous in the wrong hands.
“Such data can be used to embarrass or blackmail a person, to stalk individuals, to steal identities, to facilitate robberies, or to create a profile that can then be used by commercial entities in unexpected ways.”  "
.
.
.
What might not be so obvious to motorists, however, are the consequences of having your car constantly monitored.
“You watch it and you go, ‘that’s really interesting, that’s really useful,’ ” Gogolek told CTVNews.ca in a phone interview. “Then you go, ‘wait a second -- if they have microphones in the car, can they listen to what I’m saying?’ ”
Though it doesn’t appear GM’s mics are always on, it wasn’t too long ago that a Ford executive unsettled attendees at a data-privacy panel discussion.
.
.
.
And a recent example of your car keeping tabs on you is rental company Hertz installing driver-facing cameras in their rental cars – though they say the cameras are “inactive.”
.
.
.

 --- ---- ---- ---

So ... the car has a microphone AND a camera pointed at the driver, GPS , and about 70 other sensors. And they're selling this info not only to insurance people, but to anyone else who's got two nickles to rub together (selling your daily route to advertisers).

I can see the salespitch.

This is *YOUR* car ! Enjoy ! But *We* will be watching your every move , and every time *YOU* fart *WE* will sell that information to McDonalds who will try and sell you new hambergers. PS : Thank you for the internet connection that *YOU* provide for *OUR* benifit.

Another brick in the wall of that filter bubble.

What is a filter bubble ?

It is where they control your internet searches , the signs you see along the road, your phone, etc etc, to convince you that 8$ is a reasonable price for a loaf of bread, but the guy behind you is only paying 4$. Basically , it's an opportunity to rip you off. And that's before you get into political types who disenfranchise you from voting because they believe you'll vote against them (robocall scandel was only the beginning) , and any activist pointing out that anyone anywhere is cheating the system some how. (Enbridge had a few more pipe line leaks..oh we gotta silence that , CRTC made a decision Bell didn't like, bells lapdog CTV is going to heavily slant that , Big Business wants more TFW's because hiring canadians is just so passè , we gotta silence anyone who protests that ...etc etc)

New Ferguson municipal judge hears first round of cases

ARTICLE

The Missouri Supreme Court appointed Judge Roy Richter to handle the caseload. A statement from the state chief justice’s office indicated Richter will bring a fresh, disinterested perspective to the courts’ practices and will be able and willing to implement needed reforms. The statement went on to indicate it’s not just Ferguson; it’s entirely possible statewide changes are needed to the judicial system.
And while others agreed Judge Richter seems fair, some felt a new judge cannot bring about necessary changes.
“Once the police cite me, it’s too late for a judge to make a difference,” he said Morris.

Meet the new boss. Same as the old boss.
Got a fine for "walking with attitude " ? He can't void it. He's gonna make you pay it anyways.
Hes going to enforce all those illegal and unconstitutional Municiple Laws.

The racist white regime of america keeps right on rolling along, robbing the black man every time he turns around.

My Email Friend

Artical = none , personal experience

I met a man once, well , I emailed him. For a time.

He had Aspergers Syndrome , or so he said, and I looked it up.

But the medical description was nothing like what I saw.

Asperger syndrome (AS), also known as Asperger's syndrome, Asperger disorder (AD) or simply Asperger's, is an autism spectrum disorder (ASD) that is characterized by significant difficulties in social interaction and nonverbal communication, alongside restricted and repetitive patterns of behavior and interests. It differs from other autism spectrum disorders by its relative preservation of linguistic and cognitive development. Although not required for diagnosis, physical clumsiness and atypical (peculiar or odd) use of language are frequently reported.[1][2] The diagnosis of Asperger's was eliminated in the 2013 fifth edition of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-5) and replaced by a diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder on a severity scale.[3]

His messages had no context, he had to keep reminding you what he was talking about , resulting in several paragraphs of text where a simple sentence would suffice.

And he had no ... sense of humour ? No understanding of double meanings. If you told him the joke about a man with a duck walking into a bar and asking the bartender to put it on the ducks bill ... he will not realize that "the ducks bill" could refer to the ducks physical bill on the ducks face, or the bill (or tab) that the duck was running up by purchasing products. He'll see one or the other, he won't see both. Then he'll think you're crazy, and possibly dangerous. Why are you babbling nonsense ? Are you going to get violent next ? Are you insane in the literal clinical sense ? And it goes down hill from there.

He honestly believed he was the only sane person on the planet , and that everyone else was crazy. That the lunatics were running the insane asylem and there was nothing he could do about it.

The Royal Ottawa Hospital (the local mental institute) wasn't much help. As far as they were concerned, if they could get him to pretend to be sort of normal , long enough to hit the grocery store and come back, they didn't care how much he howled at the moon when he was home, or what craziness he engaged in. There's a shortage of beds in the mental institute, and this guy can at least care for himself and isn't a danger to the public, let him loose.

I spoke with him over many emails , he refused to meet in person , and I quickly figured out that would be a bad idea, and I got the distinct impression of the old Opera singers. The ones that could hit ridiculously high notes because they'd been castrated before puberty , and who never really complained about the inability to have sex, because they'd never had that ability in the first place. How can you miss something you've never had ?

There were pieces of his brain , empathy , and holistic thought (seeing the big picture) and understanding double meanings ... these were not functioning in him. And apparently , they'd never been functioning. He was vaguely aware of the words, probably others had informed him of this as well , but they meant nothing to him. How could he miss something he'd never had ? A blind man may hear of the wonders of sight , but if he's been blind from birth and never seen , he's just going to ignore you when you speak on that topic.

He doesn't like the modern definition of autism. He's able to quote it to me , but he doesn't believe in it. He speaks of a much older definition , apparently from the time of world war II. Hitler's people first diagnosed Asperger's syndrome , it seemed, and their definition was "every smart person on the planet". And they had plans to elminate all of the Asperger Sufferers. But the problem was, they needed smart people for science and engineering and winning the war ...

I mentioned the inability to see the larger picture ? He was never able to resolve that inherent conflict between "kill all the smart people" and "we need smart people to win the war" . He alternates between thinking about one , and thinking about the other. He doesn't even see they are opposites and you can only walk down one of those paths.

And he's got a touch of parania. He believes to this day there is a world wide conspiracy to kill the smart people. And he lacks the ability to notice he's 70 , and in good health , and receiving free health care in canada , despite the government already knowing his relatively high IQ . That's not the actions of some organization out to kill you. But he can't see that , and he hangs onto his belief that they're coming to get him. Some day. Don't bother joking about they'd better hurry or he'll die of old age first, he won't see the funny.

In fergusan Missouri a white cop shot a black man.

The initial forensic report showed it was a black hood who tried to get the cops gun , got a few bullets for his trouble , and eventually wound up dead by lead poisoning. Pow pow. Open and shut case end of story. Hey there was even a witness, a black guy , testifying to the whole thing.

Months later , it turns out the witness lied, and the cop had in fact shot the guy at point blank range while standing over him , and the bullets entered through the black mans skull and went down into his torso. Guy had been on his knee's and the cop executed him.

   Relevance to my story ?

To this day , every white guy in america quotes the first , erronious forensic report as if it were gospel , and think you're crazy , or prejudiced , if you disagee with them. Every black guy quotes the second autopsy showing a very different version of events, one in which that unarmed black man was executed.

And both sides stick to their guns.

There was even a report from the Department of Justice showing wide spread corruption and persecution of the black man . One white man read just a piece of the report noted that even dogs were being blamed for being racists and dismissed the report . (Hint...the dogs bite who their police masters tell them to bite, they don't choose on their own...back to a human made decision !)

It's like everyone in the world has Aspergers. They believe what they like , and they ignore any evidence they don't like. And if you disagree with them, you're part of the racist movement twisting events all out of shape (which shape ? depends on which side you're talking to). And they honestly believe what they're saying. They're bullet proof. Firing facts at them doesn't work  , they ignore those facts.

Sometimes I wonder if they have Aspergers, or if it's a "filter" problem. They live in a world where everyone lies to them and they filter it out, to the point where they're now filtering out the truth as well.

My friend in the email was born in the age of world war II. Hitler was in his youth. It was the first thing he learned as he grew up , I suppose it's natural for him to hang onto it all the days of his life. Perhaps he's not paranoid after all. Perhaps he simply learned his lessons very well as a boy , and it's way too late for this old dog to learn new tricks.

The disturbing thing is , American Newspapers are very quick to print blame articals when something happens , bold and on the first page, and when they find out the truth , it's months later and a little tiny article near the back page. Leaving a lot of Americans with false information. Information they will defend for the rest of their lives.

What good is a news service that openly lies to you ?

My friend in the email was my father. And he taught me one more lesson as well. When my mother decided to dump him and never speak to him again , she did me a real big favor. Guy is as fruity as a nut cake, and is likely due for another stay in the Royal Ottawa. His ability to pass for minimally sane is slipping.

I "lost" (read that erased) the email address and never speak to him again.

Lesson to everyone out there. When looking up your long lost Father or mother or brother or such ... leave an escape route. There may be very good reasons that he 's long lost.

Barbie and her NSA Adventure

Artical = http://www.ctvnews.ca/lifestyle/eavesdropping-new-barbie-has-parents-group-worried-1.2278311

Once a button on the doll is pressed, the Barbie will record a child's voice with its embedded microphone. That recording would then to be sent via Wi-Fi to Mattel’s technology partner, ToyTalk, which would process the audio with voice-recognition software and help the Barbie come up with a chatty response.

 Ahem.
The doll is going to transmit everything it hears across the internet , and then a response will be transmitted back.
In this age where the NSA is working hard to destroy all encryption and lay everything open to be easily hacked , "We're fighting Terrorists darn it ! You're helping terrorists if you encrypt your stuff !" , you want to transmit everything said in the room across the internet.

Also ... the notion that you have to push a button for it to do this is nice, but LG / Samsung already did this with their "smart TV" that listens for voice commands, and offically can be turned off. The off switch turned out not to work.

So , Matel has joined the list of people trying to get a microphone into your living room (LG and Samsung with their TV's , Microsoft with it's Connect Controller , which is a camera not a microphone) and transmit EVERYTHING across the internet to a server for processing.

Can this NSA crap get any more depressing ? Your cell phones, your computers, your email , american routers , anything that transmits information across the internet (I'm looking at you , Internet of Things , and you're bizarre idea that I need a radio ID chip in my blue jeans to lead a full and productive life ...)

Sheesh.

There is one thing I would like to point out to this easily hacked toy that NSA will catagorically refuse to allow to have functioning encryption on.

"Lets go to the front door , Annie . My friend Ken is waiting there to give us cookies ! How about that ?" I'll let you figure out who's really waiting at the front door.

Comments from my reader

"Do stories on the West African Ebola outbreak, and the forces of ISIS operating in Iraq and Syria!"
- anonymous

Ok, someone is reading my blog , hurray ! I thought I was writing just to blow off steam.

Ebola Outbreak :
   It's a disease. It's bad. I'm not a doctor what do I know about it ?  Oopsie...

ISIS :
ISIS are bad people doing bad things. I completely disagree with their ethos , many muslims actually are declaring them infidels and non-islamic because they're breaking the shia (muslim holy law). And boko harum (more or less means they dislike western education) isn't much better.
Trouble is , there isn't much controversy here. Everyone , including their fellow Muslims (whom they are industriously hunting down and killing ) agree's they're bad people and someone should stop them. Not a lot to write about.

Charlie Hedbo
I don't think they should be insulting muslims by drawing a picture of Mohammed. But then again , I don't think they should get much more than a fine for that.  Shooting them down with machine guns is outragous. We run our countries our ways (ie: each western country is beholden to it's own electorate) and people with guns from the other side of the world don't get a say in the matter.

Fergusan Missuri
I think they murdered that black guy. I think , (according to the coroner and autopsy)  , he got down on his knees , and the cop stood over him at close range , and put two bullets in his skull. (The cops story is of course radically different than this)  .
This cop , caught red handed, his story radically different than the coroner's evidence,  was let off with no penalty at all. Literaly they slapped him on the back and said "good job". Of course the blacks are rioting.  If someone declared it open season on all whities , kill all you like, they'd be rioting too.
I think the prime responsibility for this situation is the Mayor and the City Council . They should be thrown in jail.
And I think they will not be. They will get off scott free.

Ok. I think that brings us up on current affairs.

C-51 : Broader powers for CSIS
No one cares that you want to arrest more terrorists Go for it.
But we do care that these new laws could be turned against the canadian population. One need only look to the south to see the games they play to disenfranchise blacks. Certificates of 100$ or more to prove you're a voter (blacks only) , a math test that if you're white they ask you what 2+2 is , but if you're black they have this big huge jar of jelly beans and if you can't guess (correctly !) exactly how many are in you are shown the door, all sorts of games that make the canadian robocall scandel look tame.
I think they need to put in some kind of "for anti- terrorism purposes only" clause, or the next thing you know CSIS will be tracking your cell phone and your car and you'll be getting parking violation fines in the mail because CSIS will pass along the "Terrorist" info to the city police.

Personal Life

Personally , I'm moving to a bachelor pad under public housing, after a 5 year wait. The rent is cheap, the place kind of looks like a prison with the barren halls and thick doors that are basically not going to get kicked in , and I'll probably spend the rest of my days in there. Who gives up a cheap apartment when you can simply lock the door and ignore the neibours, no matter how obnoxious they get ?
Why am I telling you this ? I'm assuming Mrs Anonymous is my sister in toronto rather than some random stranger :) but if you are a random stranger , feel free to ignore this paragraph.

Ferguson, Missouri, Cops murder blacks

Article = http://www.economist.com/blogs/democracyinamerica/2015/03/law-enforcement

One of the things I dislike about many newspapers is the refusal to call a spade a spade. Not inciting riots , or calming things down , is the order of the day . Fixing the problem and punishing those responsible ... tossed aside as unimportant.

"EIGHT months after the fatal shooting of a local unarmed black teenager by a white police officer, tensions still simmer in the streets of Ferguson, Missouri. Last night about 150 demonstrators congregated where they always meet: in front of the police station on South Florissant Avenue. They rallied because of the resignation earlier yesterday of Thomas Jackson, the head of Ferguson police, in the wake of a scathing report by the Department of Justice (DOJ) that found that racial bias and petty harassment was rife in his force. Most of the demonstrators applauded Mr Jackson’s departure, but called for more heads to roll."

"Walking with Attitude" was the biggest one. The officer judged you had attitude and gave you a 50$ fine.  Since the police chief was getting pressure to give out more and more fines from the Mayor, and this was considered an important source of income for the city , pretty much every time they saw a black man they fined him. Or black woman.

And when tensions explode, the police start shooting people.

https://youtu.be/xEuaew3uyhY

This video is a re-enactment of the shooting. At the end is the autopsy results that show that Brown was shot from very close range while he was kneeling , which is in direct conflict of the story the officer gave of brown stealing the officers gun and then running away, and somehow magically not firing the gun once, but the officer fired it six times inflicting six wounds in Brown , at some distance as brown ran away.

Despite the obviously guilty officer executing a kneeling brown , he was cleared of all charges.

Which is pretty much telling the black community "Open season on all blacks ! No Bag limit !"

Yeah , this is why posts pointing this out in american papers are quickly surpressed. No one wants them rioting (they're rioting anyways) no one wants to add fuel to the fire ... and no one wants to fix the situation.

The problem here is the definition of policing , and occupying.

Police are supposed to be friendly. They're supposed to hunt the criminals and protect the innocent. (hint : A 50$ ticket every time a cop see's you is not condusive to police and civilians being on friendly terms)

Occupiers are under no such limitations. Hunting "insurgents" (violent enemy troops) means a lot of rules get broken.  But the point of occupation is , you need an army. You *WILL* take casualties. You are fighting armed enemy troops , you are pissing the population off , you are occupying the place.

If you want to be a cop, then police them.

If you want to be an occupier , you understand , occupiers take casualties. And this is not the fault of the occupied population. This is the cost of occupying territory that isn't yours, that isn't friendly to you. Either because it belongs to someone else, or because of people you essentially believe to be slaves , and how can any slave be on friendly terms to their "masters" ?

Last night about 150 demonstrators congregated where they always meet: in front of the police station on South Florissant Avenue. They rallied because of the resignation earlier yesterday of Thomas Jackson, the head of Ferguson police, in the wake of a scathing report by the Department of Justice (DOJ) that found that racial bias and petty harassment was rife in his force

It is so typically american to arrest the wrong person. The Chief of Police had nothing to do with this. He was obeying the orders of the Mayor and the City Council.  He is being sacrificed to the crowd.

The problem here is that every mayor and city council in America is watching , and as far as they're concerned, if that mayor can get away with this , even if only for a few years before it falls apart, why can't they ? And this pattern will be repeated over and over.  This is the price for rewarding criminals when you should be punishing them.

The demonstrators were just about to pack up at around midnight when gun shots suddenly rang through the air, injuring two policemen who were part of a cordon of officers standing side-by-side to protect the police station. The two policemen were from the neighbouring St Louis county police department, as the Ferguson force had asked for back-up last night. The department was "lucky by God’s grace we didn’t lose two officers,” said Jon Belmar, head of the St Louis county police. The men were released from hospital today. Meanwhile the shooter remains at large.

It was the luck of fools. Fools who shoot themselves in the foot only to find by some freak accident the bullets were badly manufactured and wont' fire. It wasn't god protecting you , if anything , it was the luck of the damned. And those arn't officers. Those are soldiers , in an occupying army. And soldiers take casualties. And you are the criminal for telling them anything else.

And next time they won't miss.  No one is that lucky.
And there will be a next time , because you will use this time as justification to beat your slaves even harder, extort more money out of them , and murder a few more of them.

The crowning irony will be when you catch some poor innocent black man , beat the crap out of him and force a confession , while the real shooter is just biding his time waiting to strike again. Framing people isn't so much fun , when the real criminal is still out there waiting to take another shot.

This is the price you pay , when you turn your police into soldiers. When you occupy a place , instead of police it.

It should probably be noted : I am not condoning violence. I'm not saying "go out and shoot a cop".  I am simply pointing out , that by the actions of one James Knowles , Mayor of Ferguson, and his cohorts Mark J. Byrne, Kim Tihen  , Dwayne T. James , David Conway,  Keith Kallstrom , all members of the city council , they have the death of at least one man , and the injury of two cops  on their hands.

They are the real criminals here.
And they will never be charged with anything.
