Rogers Introduces Canada’s First 3.5G Embedded Netbooks

Article

The HP Mini 110 Series PC is available for $299.99 and exclusively sold at Best Buy and Future Shop stores with a two-year contract. Wireless data plans for the Rogers mobile internet ready netbooks start at $25.00 plus $6.95 system access fee and other fees for 500mb.

Oh my god what a rip ! I bought my netbook on dec 26 for 285$ ,and that was including tax and it was FULL PRICE.

They want 300 smackers AND a two year contract ???

Why don't you just stick a gun to their heads or something and demand they hand the wallet over ?

starting price is 329$ for this machine over at http://www.hp.com/hpinfo/newsroom/press/2009/090527xb.html which means you are given a 29$ discount in exchange for signing A FREAKING TWO YEAR CONTRACT !!!!

'nother words, it's straight out highway robbery. They charge you basically full price for the computer and demand a two year contract.

Ya, that is not a deal, oh and btw if you use facebook ad uase any games on it (ie farmtown, restaurant city etc) you will incurre data charges and your $25 a month will sky rocket one month came in at $80 for me just ckecking my FB and reading hotmail....and better yet, if you use the rocket stick the software removes all options of using any other wireless after, you have to reinstall windown ad you cannot just add explorer agian....don't do it.
