Police stand by officer who arrested U.S. scholar

Article

On Wednesday, U.S. President Barack Obama criticized the Cambridge Police Department's actions after Sgt. James Crowley arrested Harvard University's Henry Louis Gates for disorderly conduct on July 16.

Police received a call from a neighbor that a man appeared to be breaking into the house. Gates, who returned home from a week in China to discover his front door jammed, entered his house through the back door. Police say Gates became belligerent when they spoke to him.

Some yahoo made a call just as the black scholar was coming home, noticing his own house had been broken into. The cops show up and accuse him of break and enter , he yells at them , no doubt hurling racial epitaths at them for it , and he gets arrested in his own house.

Who made the call ? It was well timed.

The officer is guilty of racism. He's a big strapping guy afraid of a non-athletic scholar ? He's got a gun the guy doesn't ?

And of course he's yelling at the cop , you guys worked hard to build your reputation as racist buggers, now you get to enjoy it ! Thats a given.

He'll get away with it, though. Only in America can the neibours call the cops on you for coming home from vacation. They were probably hoping the cops would shoot him.

((edit))
cop : But I don't see anything wrong with harrassing him. He's a black guy , and all blacks are poor , so this couldn't possibly be his house , he MUST be the intruder !

ha ha ... I hope you get fired for that.
