Layton again calls for Afghan pullout, in wake of deaths

Article

"This is the wrong mission for Canada," Layton said.
...
"It's not balanced. It doesn’t represent the equilibrium between humanitarian aid, reconstruction and comprehensive peace process that Canadians would want to see."

I noticed self defence is not one of the points of equilibrium being balanced out here. Those guys are threatening canadians. And they are producing opium which gets turned into heroin and sold on canadian streets....

Layton, who made the same call for withdrawal on Aug. 31, also accused Prime Minister Stephen Harper's Conservative government of toeing the line set by U.S. President George W. Bush and his team in Washington, D.C.

"We need a made-in-Canada foreign policy, not one that's ideologically imported that follows along the pathway that has been set by the Bush administration," Layton said.

Yeah ! Just because when bush gets kicked in the balls and decides the solution is to pound on the ones responsible for kicking him , thats no excuse. We're supposed to smile when get kicked similarily and do things differently.

Not quite sure how , differently ...but different. Somehow. Canadian type different, not american type kick 'em right back. You know...different ....

Yeah , right.
