Hezbollah won't disarm till Lebanon can defend itself, leader says

Hezbollah leader Sheik Hassan Nasrallah says the militant group won't disarm until the Lebanese government can defend the country.

Umm... I'm confused. Hezbollah is a muslim insurgant organization backed by other nations in the middle east with the purpose of overthrowing the lebanese democracy.

What was that again that just popped out of your mouth ?

Nasrallah addressed thousands of cheering supporters in Beirut Friday, his first public appearance since Israel attempted to dislodge the militants from southern Lebanon in July.

If Hezbollah disarms, the government led by Prime Minister Fouad Siniora is so weak that Israel will be able "to kill and detain and bomb whoever they want, and clearly we will not accept that."

Umm... the only people the Isralie's are trying to bomb are the Hezbollah, mostly because you're attacking them, firing rockets off at them, kidnapping their soldiers , etc etc ....

Hezbollah will talk about disarmament "when we build a strong and just state that is capable of protecting the nation and the citizens," Nasrallah said

You know , I was just watching a Television special yesterday about Islam. It kept constantly mentioning that Islam was a "Just" religion. You don't think their notion of a Just State is a non - democratic islamic one , do you ?

Lebanon protested against the Israeli attacks, but Hezbollah fought the incursion, winning what Nasrallah called "a great divine, historic and strategic victory" over Israel in 34 days of fighting in southern Lebanon this summer.

Ummm... Lebanon was never attacked. Only the Hezbollah were. and for a victorious army you got a lot of blown up buildings and pretty much little or no enemey casualties to point to. (40 israeli citizens killed by rockets fired at random into israel. )

Who wrote this confused pro-terrorist diatrabe anyways ?
