Yahoo sued for informing China on dissidents

Article

"They should not be participating actively in promoting and encouraging major human-rights abuses," said Morton Sklar, executive director for the Washington, D.C.-based organization.

Yahoo has acknowledged turning over data on its users at the request of the Chinese government, saying company employees face civil and criminal sanctions if they ignore local laws.

But ... but ... we have to act like evil pricks and turn these people in so the chinese government can torture , imprison, and execute them ! Otherwise the chinese will kick us out and our profits will go down !!!

Pft !!!

Get out of china , yahoo. Let them wallow in their own filth. Businesses should be out right forbidden to do business with China at all. A communistic regime isn't even capable of feeding it's own people , let alone challenging a technological society. Let them drown in a sea of mayday red tape and bureaucracy, just like russia did.
