The above link is a link to Medeco corporation , which makes lovely high security locks and explains the evils of keybumping , which they happily demonstrate is a way by which cheap low security locks can be openned with just a fixed key and a hammer or wrench in less than 10 seconds.

Isn't that sweet ? You should buy their locks and not anyone elses, really !



And this is a you tube video of a charming 11 year old girl who's only in the 6th grade playing with a high security Kwikset unpickable lock.

She picked it in less than 10 seconds.
