Ferguson, Mo. and the Glendale officer who tried to mend rifts
On Nov. 20, 2015, more than a year after a White police officer shot and killed an unarmed Black teenager in Ferguson, Mo., racial tension threatened to erupt again.
Glendale Police Cmdr. Andre Anderson, who had stepped into one of the most intense positions in U.S. law enforcement, had a decision to make.
As Ferguson's interim police chief, Anderson knew that the wrong choice could trigger fresh rounds of demonstrations, which led to fires and violence after the shooting.
Dear Ignorant blacks of Ferguson , please stop rioting , and I'll tell all those cops that have been beating you and falsely arresting you and throwing you in jail on trumped up charges to be nice. No , they won't be punished for what they did, no we're not firing even one of them , no reperations for the crimes they have committed against you will be paid. But yes, there is a yes in all of this. The very same Mayor that ordered the cops to do all this will still be Mayor. Yes he will.
But I'll ask them to be nice. How about that ?
*Wretching noise as the blacks throw up at that offer, and continue rioting*
Uncle Tom. It's a USA tradition. You should respect it.
