You want to send some people on a one way trip to Mars, wehre they will live the rest of their short lives ?
Are they sick ? Are they dying of some fatal disease ?
And if you do find volinteers for this , what happens if they get sick ? What happens if they get suicidal ? You going to send husband / wife combinations ? What happens when they get into a fight and want to kill each other ?
The colony I saw in the video doesn't look self sustaining. Doesn't look like it can grow or survive on it's own. Looks like a lot of pieces get flown in , and if they're damaged they can't be replaced.
This idea is technically possible , maybe. But those people will murder each other. And we'll get to watch it all on TV.
