The Second Video Generation

It's an odd feeling. You look up this song you like, and you find out some girl sang it , and you've known that name all your life , you think.

Then you check the dates, and realized she died of old age while you were still in diapers.

It does things to your head when you start to realize...

You can look back in time, via this computer , this internet , this youtube site (who knows what it will be called next year) and see how people lived their lives long ago , see their entire lives from birth to death.

Oh they could do that a century ago with books. Except 90% of the population couldn't read and write.

Now. Bored . Nothing better to do , a single question comes to your mind.

How far back in time does this dang thing go ?

We are the second video generation. Looking back at the first , who lived their entire lives , and died of old age , in front of the camera. We are the first generation that has something to look back upon and observer their body language, the cloths they wore , what they thought was moral and right.

And we can't argue with them , we cannot debate, because their time is over , they are gone, they are not listenning.

We can only observe , and wonder.
